Holiday Cards compo Invite by Iggycrypt
Jenniration Y invites us to create holiday cards for hospitalized kids!

Last year we joined our artistic forces and created over 100 cards for a little girl in need of some Christmas cheer. You all blew me away with your generosity and it planted a seed of an idea in my head. If we could bring that kind of holiday magic to one child, why not spread it even further?! I did a little research and I found an organization that collects cards for children in hospitals. So let's make some holiday cards and put some smiles on some little faces! I have enlisted the amazing Iggycrypt to do the layout of the cards and all of the printing. He will need some time to do that, plus the organization needs two weeks to distribute the cards, which means we won't have a lot of time to design them. Luckily, I know what you amazing artists can accomplish on short notice!

Guidelines
  • Please download and use this template
  • These will be one-sided postcards.
  • At the request of hospitals, please do not write "Get well", "Feel Better" or other illness related comments. This is very important because some patients suffer from medical conditions that are chronic, life-long, progressive and/or terminal.
  • Please do not include any personal information, such as: phone number, address, email address etc. Hospitals will not distribute cards with this information.
  • Please do not write any religious comments such as "God Bless" or "I'm praying for you". Hospitals will not distribute cards with these comments. Hospitals treat patients of all religions as well as patients that do not practice religion, which is why they do not allow this.
  • Please "sign" your first name (not last). You can also include where you're generally from. Ex. From Jennifer in New York or From Jennifer of Sketch Club.
  • These can be Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years or general "Happy Holiday" cards.
  • If you would like to make your card in a language other than English, that would be welcomed. There are many non-English speaking children who need cards, too!
