The new iPad is shipping March 16^th!! Let's celebrate with a compo and upgrade one of our deserving iPod/iPhone community members!

What better way to usher in the new high resolution 2048x1536 264ppi retina display than with a nice old school PIXEL ART COMPO!!! We'll say goodbye to visible pixels together.

Get your entries in before Saturday night 11pm Pacific time and then we'll have just 14 hours of voting until the awards ceremony and new iPad winner is announced! Good luck and have fun everybody!!

Rules

• No image loads
• Must use Sketch Club 1.12
• Enter as many sketches as you like but only your top rated will be eligible for prizes
• Use primarily Pixel tool (you can use the other tools as well but maintain a nice pixel art feel - check out the 8-bit compo for some inspiration)

Fine prints: this of course isn't an official Apple endorsed thing just an epic prize cuz Sketch Club loves you so much. The new iPad will be preordered immediately after the award ceremony so it can get to the winner as soon as possible (they start shipping on the 16^th). I can only order for addresses in the U.S. so if you win and are outside U.S. I'll paypal you the $500 so you can order your iPad directly. Cheese burgers are delicious and may be consumed while creating your pixel art entry.
