Hi, was away for two days (no Internet) and wow so many uploaded sketches! Pages and pages is there a better method or way to keep on top of it all? They r all great but it will take hours to get-up-to-date so maybe there is a better way for next time?

I wish there was... When I first started using SC, I used to dedicate so much time a day to stay on top of ALL submissions. But as the community grew, and my time to dedicate toward SC dwindled, I found it impossible to view all submissions. Now I just make sure to fan anyone I may be interested in always seeing what new art they've posted and use my activity feed... Then, any leftover time gets used on the first few pages of recently added art. It's unfortunate, and very difficult as I feel it can greatly effect your art's exposure if uploaded when fewer members are present at that time. Even worse when those fewer members happen to be the ones who truly help the community by being a part of it fully. There are some really great artists on SC that I feel could really help their peers on here if they would take the time to browse and comment/critique. There's something really great about getting a compliment on a piece from someone who you think is out of your league. Anyway, best I can suggest is keep trying to be a helpful part of the community but don't try and keep up with the constant flow of submissions, you'll start losing your hair trying to stay on top of it.

Oh, and another suggestion, if you browse on a computer so you can manually change the web address. You can choose 'see more' on Recent Sketches, then change the number 1 at the end of the address to something like 10. That will load you to the 10th page of recent art. From there you can view all the art, and then backtrack to page 9, then 8 so on and so fourth. Hope that helps, if it made any sense. =S

I Am usually on my iPad. Does the above work through safari? Presently I go through app to last page where I left off and then go backwards. Similar? Thanks for the suggestions! Appreciate the thoughtfulness

ah, yeah, I think it'd work through safari... and yep it's basically same to what you do now, minus having to forward through every page until you reach the last page you left off.

some of the ways i like to catch up on sketches at the moment in no particular order

- activity feed of course to see the latest from artists i'm a fan of
- recent filter and tap see more. find lots of great older sketches i may have missed this way.
- top 7 days filter and tap see more
- and also paging through recent all

Thank you Dill and Blackpawn . I just discovered the top 7 days / 30 on the home screen and am looking forward to trying your suggestions. I try little by little to enjoy all the fabulous art the SC has to offer and am constantly awed by all the talent! It takes me a while to get those hearts and when they come they are no sooner there then gone and I wish I had an unlimited supply to spread around . One of the things I do try to do is check out the older sketches as I enjoy seeing the progression from the beginning. Each time I find something I missed the time before but recently I can't keep up with everyones wonderful contributions... So I keep trying... will catchup one day! Thanks for the help
