Hi gang!

I'd like feedback from lots of you on this problem!
I have a huge frustrating issue with my sketching color changing to white while I am working its been going non for some time now and it's not on just one thing I have an iPad and two iPhones and it is happening with all of them. I will be sketching and notice that nothing is showing up on the screen I look at my color cube and it's turned white! This is terribly frustrating. I,ll change the color back and soon as I put the stylus back on the screen it does the same thing! This is also not exclusive to one stylus I have about nine different types and it happens with all
If you've had similar problems please let me know!!!

Hmmm...that hasn't happened to me, but I pretty much always use my finger. It could be a problem with the stylus. Or it could be that when you put the tip to the screen you hold it there too long before moving it, which causes the "eyedropper tool to select the color of the canvas. Or at least that's what happens on my iPod.
Maybe try going to settings, select Sketch Club,find the bar that says...I believe it says color select...and reduce it.

Hi Karen! On your iPad, iPod or iPhone go to your 'settings' button. This is not located within the sketchclub app -- it is the gray icon button that came preloaded on your apple device -- it is neutral gray and has little gears. Click on this button then scroll down towards the bottom of the page it takes you to until you find the button for 'sketchclub'. Click on this button and there are 6 or so adjustments which can be made to the sketch club app. Look for 'enable color picker'. If you want to completely eliminate the problem, turn it to 'off'. You need to reset it on each device. Here are the directions in summary

Settings > sketchclub > enable color picker (on/off)

You could also choose to leave it on but change the sensitivity with the slider located just below it.

The purpose of the color picker is to allow you to choose a specific color you have already used.

I expect the fact that this is happening on all of your devices means it is set too sensitive for how you regularly touch your canvas.

Yeah I keep the auto color picker off, because I apparently rest my stylus on the screen a lot and it's always picking up a color without me meaning to, lol.
