This is kind of a crazy idea but I thought that it would be a cool thing to try to implement in Sketch Club. The magnetic brush would behave similar to if you had a magnetic ferrofluid solution on the canvas and you were moving it around with a magnet. The magnetic brush would be able to attract other pigmets around it and possibly mix them together depending on how close to the other color you got. The brush would also be able to just attract and move pigment around without laying down color if the opacity is set to zero. Inverting the brushes behavior so that it repels pigment instead of attracting it could be interesting. You would also be able to use different brush tips to achieve unique effects with its attractive qualities. What do you guys think about having such a brush available in Sketch Club?

I like the idea of 'active' brushes of any kind. I'd really like to see a watery brush that runs and mixes randomly, for example. Anything to produce the kinds of 'happy accidents' that happen with real life tools. That's one thing about digital tools that's missing. We need a few that are actually less precise

I too like randomness and spontaneity while doing artwork because it loosens you up and forces you to see things with your imagination when there is only chaos. That's one reason why I like getting artistic inspiration from looking at clouds and other random patterns in nature.
