Just curious, but Gloperators actual people who look through art? Or is it a program that registers thumbs up and hearts, almost like a popularity scale? Just wondering, sometimes, when I see some sketches featured, not that they are not nice, it feels like the latter. Views?

Gloperators choose what gets featured, however, people are given stars these days for placing high in compos... These stars allow the community to choose which art to feature as well.

The new site layout will show you if a sketch was featured by a Gloperator (whom I assume are human ) or by a club member who has won a Feature star for placing in a competition.

I have seen things get featured in just a few moments, and I've also seen it take months, so I don't think it has anything to do with a program algorithm. But I have no idea what criteria the gloperators use.

Yes, there are several actual human gloperators. They are hand selected by BP. BP, on the other hand, may or may not be a computer algorithm. His actual physical existence has been neither proven nor disproven.

Over time, I have figured out who a few of the gloperators are. They have varying tastes, which makes for a variety of sketches and styles being featured...

Who are they PK so I can butter up to them?

I'm certain BP is real because no algorithm I know could be so unfailingly optimistic. I also believe in Santa Claus.

Kijah... You most Definately have The gloperator power to feature a favorite sketch, Bravo! Congrats! One day when you find a sketch you really love, and think that everyone should see it, you can give it a star to feature it. But I believe one star allows you to feature only one sketch.

BP is Santa Claus! No wonder SC is so cheap, and all the free upgrades make sense now...except for one thing. I really don't think we're all good little girls and boys *shifty eyes*.

I think I saw BP standing by an oil rig in rural Colorado. I also saw armadillos drinking Coors.....probably fatigue hallucinations😉 I hope to be back in my private Idaho soon where I have a network connection and no beer swilling armadillos. I miss you all.

Gloperators are mysterious people who never EVER go out in public. They live in caves with nothing but a computer and a lifetime supply of tacos and they wear dark hooded cloaks. BP is their Ultimate Ruler and they do whatever he says.

Dear Santa Claus, (aka SC BP which stands for Santa Claus Brings Presents) - All I want for Christmas is ... World Peace ... and the ability to send my love (via hearts ) around the world. So, if you're not too tired after delivering World Peace, could you leave me a neverending supply of hearts in a magic jar (of course) in my stocking? Oooo.... And four reindeer sleigh bells, two for my dogs (so I can hear them when they escape my yard) and two for my kids (cheaper than installing GPS in their teeth ). Thank you, I Do, I Do!
