I haven't received my 2 stars from two different features....was I forgotten?
-
How do you mean? You don't receive stars for being featured, a star is used in order to feature a sketch, and are earned through placing in competitions.
-
It's a cool idea PDids26, post it in suggestions

.
-
Ohhhhh, I thought you did. That would be cool, though...,
-
Ooooooo I wish lol
-
Oh, I earned one in a competition, that's it. I haven't received it....that's what I mean.
-
Yikes. If we earned one by being featured that would be chaos! Pretty soon everyone would have feature powers. Then we would see folks featuring their own art so that they would continue to have at least one star, and they could feature anytime they wanted.
MAYBE only get a star if featured by a Gloperator would that work.
-
I think the current system is good. There are already times where new stuff is being featured way too quickly, pushing features off the home page before they've had a decent run.
PDids....did you place in the top 20 overall, or just in the top 20 in the iPod bracket? Only the overall top 20 finishers win stars...
-
I defer to PK in all matters involving logic.
-
Ohhhh, I guess I'm not getting one.:(
-
The system is good. That said, last contest I won a star I did not get it either. I just sent BP an email and he fixed it post haste. No harm no foul. All is good.

i do plan on adding some more ways for people to earn

's (in particular i'd love a way associated with the daily challenges - i tried doing something where the person who suggested the challenge gets to give a

to one of their faves from the day but people aren't always on the day their challenge is chosen so that doesn't quite work the way i hoped haha) also in the future there will be a queueing system for the features to help ensure featured sketches get their fair share of time on the front page. good things to come!

ooh and please do let me know (hmm here or maybe in Suggestions forum) any cool ideas you think of for other ways of awarding

's!

Love the idea of queuing featured sketches. Brilliant!
