Hey everyone
I just got the new iPad. Woooohooo as a gift from a very special person in my life. I was just wondering if there was a setting to make it possible to rest your palm on the huge screen when idraw or if I have to keep hands off Sorry if this a stupid question this is my first iPad ever i never had 1 or 2. Only drew on iPhone I did notice the settings I use on iPhone draw different on iPad I will have to get used to it anyway thanks for your time. And everyone have a great day😃

Nope....SC has no palm rejection. Some writing apps do, like uPad, but that doesn't help you with SC. I know some people use fingerless gloves...

Cool thanks pk😃

I find it easier to lie down or sit on a recliner while I sketch...

Thanks sari I love the space I have to draw now and just strange after using iPhone so long. And tHanks

That's exciting news Markus! Congratulations on the iPad. I also went from iPhone to iPad. If I need to rest my hand against something (usually just for tricky details) I use the two finger touch to move my sketch in a way where I can rest my hand against the iPad frame. Exciting news!

Thank you Wendy so much I've tried a couple of things and this you said and I think it's the best so far thank you for your comment and have a wonderful day

Markus, I have had the same problem. When I was sketching on the iPod I could rest my palm on my other hand... After a couple of weeks though the iPad became second nature. Once you get used to not putting your palm down its not so bad

I still have a slip up now and then but not like I did in the first few days

Thanks frogfire glad some one else had this problem well not the problem you know what I mean anyway thanks for your comment it helps out a lot 😃👏🎉

Sometimes I put a magazine on the iPad to rest my hand. Need to be careful of staples though. And it needs to be thick enough. But mostly I will zoom in for any detail work and wrest my wrist somewhere off surface. Thus ensues carpal tunnel. 😊

Palm rejection is available only when using ipen
It would be great if SC supported the palm rejection feature without the need of ipen
