What is your favorite tool to create the majority of your sketches with? I use the vector tool quite a bit in my sketches. I've noticed that I use it a lot more than any other tool . I've also noticed that because I use the vector tool so much that it cuts down on the number of actual brush stokes in my sketches since I use it in the "fill" mode most of the time.

I use it to lay down a lot of color at once, and I am then able to move that color around using the smudge, and/or blur tool. It's almost like putting down actual paint on a canvas and then blending it with a brush. It works great when shading different parts of a sketch.

So what do you use most of the time?

Vector (fill mode). If I could only have one tool to sketch with I wouldn't even have to think about it for one second. It didn't exist a year ago when I joined, and it revolutionized sketching for me.

I made my own brush. I use it for just about everything. But the vector with fill and gradient on helps a lot. And the eraser is vital.

I use only airbrush and A LOT of smudge tool. Oh and sketchy and smooth for quick sketches
Well and erase tool is handy because clipping mask functions still doesn't exist

Sketchy tool and brush number 2 & 13! Cant do without them!😊

Sketchy @ 50% falloff for my initial draft, then Vector fill for finalizing the lines. Lastly Pixel Brush for filling in my backgrounds.

Because Vector fill hates me, I will have to go with Brush #2 and smudge....smmuuuuddge *drools*

I'd say Vector and then soft brush for shading.

i think smudge mostly... and sketchy...maybe becuz i work with pencil on drawings in real life alot

Brushes, brushes, brushes!! I've seen lots of fantastic work on here done with sketchy and vector, but I simply can't get the hang of them. So thumbs up to those who can! But I am a brush junkie! Yeah!

Brushes and vector mostly. Pen sometimes. And undo, lol.

Vector, smooth or sketchy or pen, pixels, and hugely use brushes!!! And fill is of good use too!

Oh yeah, the eraser, be lost without that!
