Where do you set your IPad brightness? I have my brightness turned way up. I am afraid others who don't will see my sketches as darker than I intend. So should I set it mid way when sketching? What do others set brightness at?
-
I always have my brightness at just about the middle. If it's much darker I can't see it, but if it's much brighter it burns my eyeballs. 👀
-
Yeah about half way, a little more. I've learned over time to push my sketch's contrast and saturation a bit, so they don't look washed out on other devices. The iPad screen is almost too good sometimes. But you'll never take it from me! lol.
-
I have mine bright as hellfire, I'm blind as a bat.
-
Haha, Autismom! You sure wouldn't know you had your brightness cranked up from your vibrant colors on your sketches!
-
I vary the brightness of my iPad during the day. In the evening I set it a little below the middle. During the day a bit above and when I take it outside it needs to go all the way up.
-
I do the same, Ybema. I have auto-brightness turned on, but when I go outside in sunlight, I still crank it up all the way. I love the four-finger gestures that allow me to quickly adjust the brightness settings on the iPad!
-
Four finger what? PK, you're telling me something new here. I'm gonna do check that out. Oh, wait. I turned that off, because it didn't work well with some note taking programs.
-
Haha....yeah, the gestures conflict with some apps, especially games that require multi-touch input. But if they are enabled, you can four finger swipe up to see your active apps, then swipe them to the right, where you can adjust brightness and easily access your music player.
-
....also works well if you're looking at a reference photo, either through Safari or your photos. You can quickly swipe back and forth from your reference to SC!

:D learned something new here^ !!! 👍
