My uncle loved lighthouses. LOVED them! He circumnavigated the globe in his sailboat (with my brother) and took photos of all of them. This one was sent to me by my friend, Cindy. So when I see a lighthouse, I think "Uncle Terrell"
Thank you :

OH MY GOSH!!!! I was just going to bed and sending a couple of messages and saw this!!! THANK YOU, my dear friend, LUCILLE for featuring this one!!!! It's special to me in so many ways. My uncle never married or had kids and was a bit of a loner. Super sweet...but more at home on his sailboat. He stopped at every lighthouse all around the world. He told me in most cases, the lighthouse keeper was alone, too. The drawing just "fit" for him. Although he was a math teacher, he saved a good bit of money and left it to his nieces and nephews to sail the Virgin Islands together, as he used to sail with us from Miami to the Bahamas. My five brothers and sisters and spouses did just that!!!! So kind of Terrell. So kind of Lucille!!!
