For the All Things Fruit group challenge of drawing fruit that hasn't yet been picked.

Thanks, Fruit Group, for the feature. πŸŒŸβœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«

I'm Australian, but live in Japan with my Japanese wife and our two small boys. We go visit Australia every couple of years, and in fact just got back from three weeks there last week. It's the first time we've left the northern summer and gone into the southern winter, which I loved, as Japanese summers are awful, grinding, HUMID torturous things, and instead we got to rug up in nice single Celsius-digit temperatures every day while my friends sweated it out back in the north. πŸ˜“β˜ƒοΈ

I've been saying that it's definitely what I want to do next time, too, rather than leaving our winter to go into Aus summer, but my wife isn't so keen because if we go in February instead, then that happens to be MANGO SEASON in Australia, which is, in her mind, worth enduring weeks of August hell in Japan, and skipping my beloved, crispy, snappy chilly winter.😑

That's a (stereo)typical Japanese thing to think; in fact there is survey research that shows that some enormous proportion of international travel by Japanese people is for the purpose of eating international food. It seems ludicrous to me, especially given that an even more enormous proportion of food here is actually imported, anyway!
For my wife, nothing could be more appealing than fresh, in-season Australian mangos, and thus my choice of fruit for this challenge was a dedication to her.

As for the sketch, well, it was just another case of it just coming together, and of the incredible tools in this wonderful app just coming up with the effects I was looking for, almost by themselves. Full credit to SketchClub itself, which, time after time, allows me to create things that just a few years ago I would never have even dreamed of being able to create.
Thank you always, Blackpawn, for what you've put into our hands, and thank you community for the enjoyment I get every single day from the social and sharing side of the app, admiring your talents and learning from your works.

(If I may, just one more : it isn't so relevant to this sketch, but please do check out and join the Perspective group, which I started and co-coordinate! We could do with more members!)
