Thanks all so much for commenting! Papa frankenpickle is making grumbly noises because he has a 'red bellied purple pickle pecker' pecking on his head. The bride of frankenpickle knows the little ball capped boy is making a face and so she's thinking 'one time, just one time...a nice family photo...is that asking to much?' Their kitty is a yellow pickled banana pepper and he's 'visualizing' the perfect leap where he gets to have red bellied purple pickle pecker for breakfast. Started this on the day of the daily challenge of 'emotionally complex' so the kids are a baby radish and a baby carrot... Needed some color to capture the nuance...
